True healing happens where science meets intuition.
As a licensed massage therapist, I bring a rigorous foundation in anatomy and physiology to every session, ensuring your body is treated with precision, safety, and clinical expertise.
I specialize in working with chronic issues because I believe the body tells a story — and sometimes pain is the language it uses when emotions haven’t been fully processed. When something in the body doesn’t make sense or hasn’t responded to traditional approaches, I help clients explore what may be stored beneath the surface.
Informed by Reiki and Cranial Sacral techniques, my work goes beyond muscles and bones. Through a deeply intuitive connection, I listen to what your body is holding and blend clinical knowledge with intuitive touch to release tension at its source rather than just managing symptoms.
This isn’t just a massage; it’s a holistic reset for your body and soul.

Stephanie has the magic touch! With just a few sessions, she helped relieve my leg pain. She listened not only to my body, but to me. Whether I wanted a light or deep massage, she was able to provide it. Stephanie also explained things to me, so I had a better understanding of what she was doing and why. Five stars!!
Stephanie is an incredibly talented massage therapist. I've been fortunate enough to receive several massages from her, and she's helped me work through various painful physical issues and release deeply held tension. I recommend her enthusiastically and strongly to anyone hoping to heal and relax through massage!
Stephanie was fantastic. She pinpointed areas that I didn't even feel that much discomfort and then realized how much relief it gave me.
Myofascial release is a hands-on therapy that focuses on the fascia, which is the connective tissue that surrounds and supports your muscles, bones, and organs. Sometimes, due to stress, injury, or poor posture, the fascia can become tight, restricted, or “stuck,” which can cause pain, stiffness, or limited movement.
During myofascial release, a therapist uses gentle, sustained pressure and stretching techniques to release these restrictions. The goal is to restore mobility, improve circulation, reduce tension, and relieve pain, often leaving the body feeling lighter, more flexible, and relaxed. Unlike deep tissue massage, which focuses mainly on muscles, myofascial release works more on the connective tissue to improve overall movement and ease chronic tension.
Trigger point therapy is a type of massage that targets specific tight spots in your muscles, often called “knots.” These points can cause pain, stiffness, or even refer pain to other areas of the body.
During a session, the therapist applies firm pressure or gentle release techniques directly to these points to relieve tension, improve circulation, and restore normal muscle function. The goal is to reduce discomfort and help your muscles move more freely.
Adhesions are areas where tissues—usually muscles, fascia, or connective tissue—stick together or become tight when they’re normally meant to glide smoothly. They often form after injury, surgery, repetitive stress, or chronic tension.
These “stuck” areas can cause pain, stiffness, limited range of motion, and discomfort. Therapies like myofascial release, deep tissue massage, and trigger point therapy can help gently release adhesions, restoring movement and reducing tension.
Reiki is a gentle, energetic technique that promotes deep relaxation and balance. It works with the body's subtle energy fields (often called "life force energy" or "chi") to reduce stress and support the body's natural healing abilities.
Unlike traditional massage which manipulates muscles, Reiki addresses the energetic body. I use a light, non-invasive touch or hold my hands slightly above specific areas. It is particularly helpful for quieting a busy mind, easing emotional tension, and calming the nervous system, making it a powerful complement to clinical bodywork.
Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST) is a deeply soothing, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction. It focuses on the craniosacral system—the membranes and fluid that surround and protect your brain and spinal cord.
Using a touch no heavier than the weight of a nickel, I listen to the subtle rhythms of your central nervous system to find and release restrictions. This gentle work can have profound effects on chronic headaches, neck and back pain, and stress-related disorders, bridging the gap between clinical anatomy and intuitive listening.
A classic full-body massage dedicated to relaxation. Using long, gliding strokes (effleurage) and kneading (petrissage), this technique improves circulation, relieves muscle tension, and promotes a deep sense of calm. It is perfect for stress relief and resetting the nervous system.
Stretching in massage involves gently lengthening muscles and connective tissue to improve flexibility, relieve tension, and enhance circulation. During a massage, the therapist may move your body or limbs through specific stretches or apply techniques that help your muscles release tightness.
The goal is to increase range of motion, reduce stiffness, and leave your body feeling more relaxed and mobile. Stretching can be especially helpful for areas that feel tight from stress, injury, or long periods of sitting.
Indulge in a full-body experience designed to refresh and relax. This treatment includes a hand and foot exfoliating sugar scrub followed by hydrating lotion, plus a soothing scalp massage with aromatherapy to melt away tension and leave you feeling completely rejuvenated.
I approach massage a bit differently than most therapists. My favorite way to work is a dry massage when focusing on the muscles. Using cream can make it harder for me to feel and manipulate the muscles in the ways I find most effective. I often work over a sheet, which provides just the right amount of friction while still allowing me to sense what’s happening under the skin. Depending on your clothing, I may need to work around underwear to access certain points, but I always do so with comfort in mind.
Sometimes, the work may feel subtle to you, but I feel it in my hands and in the way your body begins to loosen and release. I’ve found that lighter, intentional touch often allows me to sense more than deep pressure does, so even when clients ask for deep tissue, the work may look different than expected. This also depends on how tight your body is, a more relaxed body needs less pressure than a tight body.
When I first started massage school, I wanted everything “deep tissue,” but I quickly realized I wasn’t fully in touch with my own body. Early on, my hands were more “jabby” because I couldn’t truly feel the muscles beneath. Over time, working with more clients taught me to sense the body in a deeper, more intuitive way.
It really depends on your goals and needs. If you’re coming in with a tight or tense body, consistency can help restore alignment and relieve discomfort. Personally, I didn’t get regular massages before becoming a therapist, but now I notice how much my body benefits from more frequent sessions due to the physical demands of my work.
I only recommend what I believe is truly beneficial. I don’t believe in creating dependency; my goal is to help your body function better so that, once it’s in a good place, you can maintain it on a schedule that works for you—whether that’s occasionally for maintenance or as needed.
I completely understand that limited availability can be frustrating. Right now, I’m balancing my work at a spa while building my home-based private practice, so my schedule here works around my spa hours. As my practice grows, I plan to reduce my spa days and offer more evening and flexible sessions to better accommodate working adults.
That’s a great question! You can undress to whatever level feels comfortable for you. If I’m using massage cream, it’s usually best for females to remove their bra so I can have full access and create a smooth flow across the muscles. If the focus is primarily on working the muscles, I can work around clothing. If you prefer to stay dressed, lightweight, flowy clothing works best so I can work effectively through the fabric.
When you book a massage with me, you get my full attention for the time you’ve scheduled. Whatever you’re feeling that day, tension, stress, or just the need to relax, you can request, and I’ll tailor the session to your needs. I use hot towels and a table warmer to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
I don’t currently have salt stones, but I plan to add them as my business grows and when I do, they’ll be included at no extra cost to you. Unlike many spas where everything comes with an upsell, I prefer not to use that model. My goal isn’t to make extra money through add-ons, but to provide an experience that makes you want to rebook and recommend my services to friends.
In many spas, a large portion of the massage fee goes to the business owner, which means therapists often rely on tips to make a living. Personally, tipping has always caused me stress. I’ve even avoided my own self-care at times because I wasn’t sure how much to tip on top of an already expensive service.
With a home-based practice, we can remove that pressure. The price you see is the price you pay, and you can feel confident knowing that all of your hard-earned money goes directly to the therapist. Less stress is always a good thing.
When I was in massage school, my teacher explained that we could either price our services to fully support a sustainable business and not accept tips, or keep prices lower and rely on gratuities. I knew right away that I didn’t want my clients worrying about tipping. Even now, working at a spa where I depend on tips, I’ve confirmed that it’s not the model I want for my own practice.
My intention is for you to come, receive, and relax without having to think about money beyond the listed price. I’ve set my rates so that I feel fairly compensated for the care and experience I offer, and tipping is neither expected nor required.
Yes, I have two dogs and three cats. The cats stay in the basement; however, if you have significant allergies, I want you to be aware. I also use a HEPA air filter in the massage room to help maintain air quality. For your convenience, there is a restroom located just off the massage room.
I live in an HOA community, so there are a few parking guidelines we need to follow. As a guest, I ask that you follow these as well. Please drive slowly and be mindful of children and parked cars in the area. When you arrive, you’re welcome to park in my driveway.
I usually play frequency-based music to support relaxation, but I’m always happy to use your music if you have a preference. For example, my husband finds classic rock deeply relaxing, and I often massage him with that playing in the background. If you have music that instantly helps you relax, by all means let’s use it.
I have been on an eight-year healing journey. For a long time, I felt like I was living a life that wasn’t truly mine. From the outside, people thought I was free, but inside I felt deeply stuck. That disconnect led me to learn about trauma and how it lives in the body, not just the mind. This understanding became the beginning of a lifelong process of reconnecting with myself through my body.
One book that profoundly influenced me was The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk, M.D., which introduced the idea that our bodies hold unprocessed memories. Whether it sounds unconventional or not, I truly believe it’s possible to release trauma from the body. I’m relentless in pursuing the things that light me up, and this work is one of them.
I’ve worked intentionally to cultivate more conscious, adult relationships with both my parents and my children, so we can gently rewrite and rewire past patterns that were formed when we didn’t yet have the tools or emotional capacity we have today. Emotional healing is deeply intertwined with the physical experience of being in a body. I know liberation is possible because I’ve lived it.
